Day 13: Rosemary Cashews

On this gorgeous day here in Asheville, snacks are perfect to serve during a party, or before dinner. A simple item, dressed up  to enhance their flavor.



Cashews are such a great, protein packed snack. They are hearty enough where just a small handful is plenty, even though you want to eat more!

Here is a way to dress these babies up...


Take a pound of cashews and drop one tablespoon of olive oil in, mix till coated well. Add a tablespoon of finely minced rosemary and half teaspoon of cracked black pepper. Mix well. Spread on cookie sheet and bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. When you smell the nutty-rosemary-goodness, they're done!


See what an easy snack that is to make!!? Serve these in a nice bowl on the table, or place a couple tablespoons in small baggies for guests to take as a parting gift. They will love them, as will you and yours!
