Paulina created the fabulous 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge... Take 10 minutes and create a card. While I am not sure this is a "rule" I used only items I had on hand... Great use of those items I didn't use during other crafting times! I save lots of little pieces of paper, but rarely use them! Perfect use!
These colors are wonderful together! I am loving the use of these colors in daily decorating, so this was a super fun challenge to participate in!
The timer was set. And 10 minutes later I had a beautiful card! It does take some pre-planning before hand.... All my supplies were either scraps I had cut beforehand, or I had the pieces pre-made. The accordion wheel was made days ago for an upcoming blog post. I like to make a few extra items, just in case, and this was the perfect way to use them! The quatrefoil pink die cuts were cut using my Silhouette Cameo last week. I was playing around cutting on the new adhesive backed card stock I purchased at Joann's! LOVE that stuff!!!! Will definitely be buying more!
Ready to see each one up close??
This card took the longest.... Each of the die cuts still had their sticker backing on them, which takes wayy too much time to deal with. You can tell I was trying to go quickly, most are not as straight as I would prefer, but I'm still in love with it!
No, I did NOT make the wheel in 10 minutes... Those babies take too much time. However, I had it in my box of extras and thought this card needed a pop of gold. The background is stamped over and over with a pink design. I love using paper with texture to add depth to any paper craft. You can't tell, but the teal flowered paper is glittery! My favorite.
This was a quick card once again, using my scraps. The Pink Baker's Twine adds a whimsical aspect.
This was the quickest card - using a 4x6 paper that was teal colored with accents of glittery teal, green, and a brown butterfly. Pink Baker's Twine makes the Kraft paper tag stand out even more.
